About Our Panelists:

Krista Stafford is the Director of Global Training Programs & Systems for Burger King Corporation.  She has been with Burger King Corporation for over 3 years, previously employed with Arby's Restaurant Group in HR & Training. At Burger King, Krista oversees learning strategy, curriculum design, integration of learning technology, and systems and reporting for North America Training. She is SPHR certified and graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Institutional Management and a Masters in Human Resource and Organizational Development.

Gelsys Cárdenes is a Senior Training Supervisor in FPL's College of Customer Service. Her department supports the learning and process documentation needs of over 1,500 employees ranging from meter readers to commercial account managers.  Prior to joining FPL, Gelsys worked at Eastern Airlines where she managed the group responsible for designing award promotions for travel agencies based on their support to Eastern.  Gelsys earned a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida International University.  She also has a Systems Approach to Training (SAT) certification from FPL.

Sandra Sallum is the Director of Professional Development for the University of Miami. She has been with the University of Miami since 2004, first as a training coordinator and now as a Director. Before that she was the Director of Training for IGS an IT consulting and Technology Center in Utah. Sandra was responsible for curricula design and client customization of training for the company. Sandra has a Masters in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University.
