About our presenters:

After a nationwide search, the Miami Public Health Trust voted unanimously to pick a veteran hospital administrator, Eneida Roldan, as the new chief executive of the Jackson Health System. She is the first woman and first Hispanic to lead the tax-supported system, which generates more than $1 billion in revenue from four hospitals, 10 primary care centers, and other facilities, as well as a half-penny sales tax. With growing numbers of uninsured and pressures to reduce reimbursement rates for the Medicaid program that serves the poor, Roldan acknowledges she will face severe challenges of running a public hospital during a recession.

Ms. Priscilla Gill is Director of Leadership/Organization Development and Diversity at Jackson Health System.  Prior to joining Jackson, she served in similar roles at Mercy Hospital, and Siemens Information and Communication Networks.  She has a multidisciplinary background in human resources, sales, marketing and quality that includes over twenty years of organizational development and management experience in profit and non-profit organizations.

Ms. Gill earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Communication and Marketing, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Senior Professional Human Resources certification.  She has also received certifications in Dispute Resolution, Skill Assessment Centers, Coaching, and Management Quality Improvement.  Ms. Gill’s professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Society for Training and Development, Organization Development Network, and The National Association of Health Services Executives.
