Mike Huffaker is a long-time member of ASTD and one of the chapter's strongest supporters. He is currently serving as 2007 VP of Membership and was our Chapter President in 2005.

Mike is a seasoned workplace learning professional currently in his 6th year at Arise Virtual Solutions, Inc. (formerly Willow CSN). He is Certification Manager at Arise, where he has also served as Manager, Learning Design & Systems, Instructional Designer and Instructional Developer. Prior to working at Arise, he spent 11 years in workplace learning in companies such as Sunglass Hut International. Mike's early careers include lobbyist and lumberjack.

Mike's skill and enthusiasm have been a large part of what has made the Miami chapter a success. His latest contribution has been to help set up our new web site, to which he contributed ideas, photos, content, and time learning how to administer the site.
