Starr Davis

Starr Davis has been a member of several ASTD chapters:  Tampa Bay, and Charlotte, where she served as VP of Administration and Program.  She is currently the Workshop Coordinator for the Miami Chapter.  In May, she successfully partnered ASTD with SHRM and ISPI in Miami to host Nick Hall’s workshop: “I know what to do, so why don’t I do it.”

Starr has over fifteen years of training and organizational development experience with financial institutions.  Most recently, she was a Vice President, Regional Operations Manager at Countrywide Home Loans.

Starr’s training accomplishments include:  developing and implementing a $7.5 million competency management system delivered to approximately 9,000 employees; conducting workflow reviews to improve processes to save time and money; leading a 14 week Foundations for Leadership class for first time supervisors.  Starr is certified in Covey’s Seven Habits, Myers Briggs, DISC and Project Management.
