Steve Neifeld has been a member of ASTD since 1993.  At the Atlanta chapter he served as a Committee Chair of Member Services.  Steve was VP of Communications for the Miami chapter in 2006 and 2007, and has assisted the chapter in developing and managing the chapter web site. 

Steve began his career teaching high school health education for 10 years.  Next, he moved to financial services as a corporate trainer responsible for the design and development of training for field employees.  Steve enhanced material and curriculum to support the learning and development of new and experienced financial representatives.

Steve brings a background rich in training development and delivery within the financial services industry as a learning consultant. Through training initiatives directed at HR orientation, selling skills, product training, compliance and the financial planning process, he helped transform a national organization’s sales force from traditional product sales to needs-based financial planning.
